Terms and Conditions for MyGuava x Crystal Palace Mascot Promotion
Guavapay Limited (“Guavapay”, or “We”) is the promoter of the MyGuava Crystal Palace Promotion (the “Promotion”). We are registered with the Financial Conduct Authority as a Small Electronic Money Institution (SEMI) under number 900888 and registered as a limited liability company in England and Wales with company number 10601900 and with registered address at Monument Place, 29 Monument Street, London, EC3R 8AJ, United Kingdom. For the purposes of this Promotion, “Participant” or “you” shall refer to individuals who have fulfilled the requirements set forth in sections 1 and 2 of the Promotion.
By participating in this Promotion, the Participant agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
1.1. Participants must be residents of the United Kingdom.
1.2. Participants must be 18+ years old.
1.3. The following individuals are not eligible to enter the Promotion:
- employees or consultants of Guavapay or its affiliates;
- anyone entering on behalf of another person.
1.4. Entry into the Promotion is available from 00:01 am on the 21st of July 2025 and will end at 11:59 pm on the 4th of August 2025 (the “Promotional Period”).
1.5. If you do not meet these criteria or cease to meet them before the Promotional Period ends, your entry will be automatically disqualified.
2. How do I enter?
2.1. The Participant must complete the Form associated with this Promotion.
2.2. The Participant must use their Crystal Palace Reward Card to complete at least one (1) Eligible Transaction. The more Eligible Transactions the Participants make, the more likely they will be the winner of this Promotion.
2.3. For the purpose of this Promotion, “Eligible Transactions” shall mean:
a. Transactions initiated by MyGuava Crystal Palace Reward Card holders.
b. Only transactions with approved Merchants shall be considered Eligible Transactions.
- Not all transfers will be considered transfers, such as:
● Cash withdrawals, balance transfers, and fund transfers.
● Fees, charges, and interest imposed by the Bank
● Gambling, betting, and cryptocurrency-related transactions
● Purchases from the following merchant categories:
i. Stored Value Card Purchase & Reloads (prepaid cards, gift cards)
ii. Automated Cash Disbursements/ Withdrawal (ATMs, cash advances)
iii. Bank Transactions (loan payments, credit card bill payments)
iv. Money transfer (remittance services, peer-to-peer transfers)
v. Non-Financial Institutions (currency exchange, money orders)
vi. Insurance Payments (policy premiums, underwriting)
vii. Direct Marketing – Insurance (telemarketing insurance sales)
viii. Parking (meters, garages, lot payments)
ix. Real Estate (rental payments, property management)
x. Securities Trading (stockbrokers, investment platforms)
xi. Other Services – Not Elsewhere Classified (miscellaneous professional or business services that don’t fit common categories).
3. What is the prize?
3.1. The winner will receive two general admission tickets for the match between Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, scheduled for 23rd August 2025.
3.2. The winner will enjoy a football mascot experience for their child. The child will have the unique experience of walking onto the pitch alongside the players before kickoff.
3.3. To be eligible for the mascot experience, the winner’s child must be between the ages of five (5) and fourteen (14) years old at the time of the event. Proof of age may be required prior to confirmation of participation.
3.4. The prize shall be awarded to only one (1) Participant.
3.5. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.
4. How and when will winners be chosen?
4.1. The winners will be chosen randomly from the pool of Participants.
4.2. The winner will be announced on the 7th of August 2025 via MyGuava App, MyguavaApp Instagram account or via email.
4.3. Details of the mascot experience prize shall be communicated to the winner using the email address registered on their MyGuava App account, or via an alternative method. The Promoter will coordinate directly with the winner to confirm attendance, provide event details, and ensure all necessary arrangements are in place.
4.4. The prize shall be considered redeemed once the Participant has confirmed their child’s eligibility in accordance with section 1 and 2 of this Promotion and accepted the event arrangements communicated by Us. Failure to confirm participation within 2 days of the prize notification may result in forfeiture of the prize. We reserve the right to withdraw the offer and select an alternative Participant from the remaining eligible entries.
4.5. Guavapay bears no responsibility for the Participant’s failure to personally receive notification of the prize, including but not limited to cases of incorrect email address details, unavailability at the time of delivery, or third-party interference.
4.6. By participating, You consent to the use of Your name and photo/video or any other personal data voluntarily submitted by You (where applicable) for marketing and publicity purposes.
5. Disqualification and Final Decision
5.1. We reserve the right to disqualify any Participant who does not comply with these terms and conditions or who provides false information.
5.2. Our decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the Promotion. We reserve the right to declare the Promotion void if We consider it unreasonable to proceed, due to an administrative error or otherwise.
5.3. We will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 2 working days of the announcement date, we reserve the right to cancel the Promotion for the winner and offer the prize to the next eligible Participant selected from the correct entries that were received before the end of the Promotional Period.
6. Liability
6.1. Guavapay is not liable for any technical issues or malfunctions that may affect the entry process or result in a lost or incomplete entry. We are not responsible for any entries that are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise invalid.
6.2. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Guavapay’s liability under or in connection with the Promotion or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the prize in question.
6.3. Guavapay will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered where We are unable to continue running the Promotion as planned.
7. Your Personal Data
7.1. If you register to participate in the Promotion, We will use your information in accordance with these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy, which explains how We will use, disclose, transfer, and store your personal data, and sets out your rights to your personal data: https:/myguava.com/personal/privacy-policy.
8. Additional Terms and Conditions
8.1. This Promotion is a one-sided campaign, where only Guavapay customers can be awarded the prize.
8.2. Participants must be in full compliance with your Account Terms and/or any other terms and conditions that apply to your MyGuava account.
8.3. Guavapay reserves the right to alter the T&C, cancel or terminate the Promotion at any time, for any reason, without prior notice or liability. In the event of cancellation, any obligations incurred up to the date of cancellation shall remain in effect.
8.4. Guavapay reserves the right to terminate or temporarily suspend this Promotion in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity, though We will endeavor to minimise the impact on participants.
8.5. Guavapay accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, injury, damage, or incident that may occur to the Participant, the nominated child, or any accompanying persons during the mascot experience or related travel to and from the event. Participation in the event is at the Participant’s and the child’s own risk. We recommend that Participants ensure appropriate supervision, insurance, and safety precautions are in place.
8.6. We reserve the right to reverse any prize if We become aware that you have breached any of these Promotion terms.
8.7. If We believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Promotion, We may, at our sole discretion, take any actions we see fit.
8.8. If We need to change, suspend or end the Promotion before the end of the Promotional Period, We will use our reasonable endeavours to give you notice through the app and/or email.
8.9. By participating, You consent to the use of your name and photo/video or any other personal data voluntarily submitted by you (where applicable) for marketing and publicity purposes.
8.10. These terms and conditions are published in English. Any translation is a courtesy translation only. This means you cannot derive any rights from any translated version, and only the English version can be used in legal proceedings.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
9.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute relating to these terms and conditions.
