Terms and Conditions for MyGuava Cashback Program
Guavapay Limited (“Guavapay”, or “We”) is the promoter of the MyGuava Cashback (the “Program”). We are registered with the Financial Conduct Authority as a Small Electronic Money Institution (SEMI) under number 900888 and registered as a limited liability company in England and Wales with company number 10601900 and with registered address at Monument Place, 29 Monument Street, London, EC3R 8AJ, United Kingdom. For the purposes of this Program, “Participant” or “you” shall refer to individuals who have fulfilled the requirements set forth in sections 1 and 2 of the Program.
By participating in this Program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
1.1. Participants must be residents of the United Kingdom.
1.2. Participants must be 18+ years old.
1.3. Entry into the Program is available to new and existing MyGuava account customers who have successfully completed the onboarding process.
1.4. If you do not meet these criteria or cease to meet them, your entry will be automatically disqualified.
2. Entry Requirements
2.1. The Program is free to enter. Every MyGuava customer who has opened and verified the account is eligible to be part of the Program.
2.2. To participate in this Program, the Participant must make Eligible Transactions.
2.3. For the purpose of this Program, “Eligible Transactions” shall mean:
a. Transactions initiated by MyGuava Account holders in or outside the United Kingdom.
b. Only transactions with approved Merchants shall be considered Eligible Transactions.
- Not all transfers will be considered transfers, such as:
● Cash withdrawals, balance transfers, and fund transfers.
● Fees, charges, and interest imposed by the Bank
● Gambling, betting, and cryptocurrency-related transactions
● Purchases from the following merchant categories:
i. Stored Value Card Purchase & Reloads (prepaid cards, gift cards)
ii. Automated Cash Disbursements/ Withdrawal (ATMs, cash advances)
iii. Bank Transactions (loan payments, credit card bill payments)
iv. Money transfer (remittance services, peer-to-peer transfers)
v. Non-Financial Institutions (currency exchange, money orders)
vi. Insurance Payments (policy premiums, underwriting)
vii. Direct Marketing – Insurance (telemarketing insurance sales)
viii. Parking (meters, garages, lot payments)
ix. Real Estate (rental payments, property management)
x. Securities Trading (stockbrokers, investment platforms)
xi. Other Services – Not Elsewhere Classified (miscellaneous professional or business services that don’t fit common categories)
xii. Government bill payments (including Council taxes, Business rates, housing rent, fines, Court payments, taxes, fines, national insurance or other local government services, etc.)
xiii. Utility bill payments (Gas, water, electricity, broadband, TV licenses)
2.4. The Participant will not be eligible for the cashback if their account is frozen, terminated, or if We have reasonable grounds to believe You have violated any of these Terms & Conditions.
2.5. Any Participant who provides false or misleading information during registration or the transfer process will be disqualified from the Program.
3. Cashback
3.1. Participants will be eligible to receive the following cashbacks:
● General and Co-Brand General Edition Cards
a. 0.3% cashback on all Eligible Transactions made within the United Kingdom (UK).
b. 0.6% cashback on all Eligible Transactions made outside the UK.
● Co-Brand Cards – Sports Merchant Transactions
c. 5% cashback on all Eligible Transactions at designated sports merchant locations using a general co-brand card.
d. 7% cashback on all Eligible Transactions at designated sports merchant locations using a limited edition co-brand card.

● Limited Edition Co-Brand Cards (All Other Transactions)
e. 0.6% cashback on all Eligible Transactions, regardless of whether the transaction is made within or outside the UK.
3.2. For the purpose of this Program, transactions will be categorized based on the Merchant Category Codes (MCCs). We will determine, in our sole discretion, which MCCs qualify for Cashback under the Program.
3.3. Not all MCCs are eligible for Program purposes, and we make no guarantee that a particular merchant or transaction type will qualify, even if it appears to fall within a generally eligible category.
4. When will I receive the cashback?
4.1. The cashback amount will be credited to the MyGuava account used for the Eligible Transactions every month.
4.2. Cashback will be calculated based on transactions made in the preceding calendar month.
5. Limitations and Disqualification
5.1. The Program cannot be combined with any other promotions, offers, or discounts.
5.2. Only Eligible Transactions fully completed within the Program conditions qualify for the cashback. Pending or disputed transactions that are not finalized will not count.
5.3. We reserve the right to disqualify any Participant who does not comply with these terms and conditions or who provides false information.
5.4. Our decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the Program. We reserve the right to declare the Program void if we consider it unreasonable to proceed, due to an administrative error or otherwise.
6. Liability
6.1. Guavapay is not liable for any technical issues or malfunctions that may affect the Registration process or result in a lost or incomplete registration. We are not responsible for any registration that are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise invalid.
6.2. By participating in this Program, you confirm and understand that any amount credited may to you may be subject to tax. It is entirely your responsibility to pay any tax which may arise from receiving any cashback. Guavapay will bear no liability for any tax obligations which may arise from any cashback received as part of this Program.
6.3. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Guavapay’s liability under or in connection with the Program or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the value of the cashback.
6.4. Guavapay will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered where we are unable to continue running the Program as planned.
7. Your Personal Data
7.1. If you register to participate in the Program, we will use your information in accordance with these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy, which explains how we will use, disclose, transfer, and store your personal data, and sets out your rights to your personal data: https://myguava.com/legal/privacy-policy.
8. Additional Terms and Conditions
8.1. Participants must be in full compliance with your Account Terms and/or any other terms and conditions that apply to your MyGuava account as notified and updated from time to time and published on https://myguava.com/legal
8.2. Guavapay reserves the right to alter the T&C, cancel or terminate the Program at any time, for any reason, without prior notice or liability. In the event of cancellation, any obligations incurred up to the date of cancellation shall remain in effect.
8.3. We reserve the right to reverse any cashback applied to your MyGuava account if we become aware that you have breached these Program terms.
8.4. If we believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Program, we may, at our sole discretion, take any actions we see fit.
8.5. These terms and conditions are published in English only.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
9.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute relating to these terms and conditions.
